CLEANING UP MAH ROOM

I did my annual cleaning-up-my-room this morning, and threw away three years worth of textbooks and papers.

After the first hour I had to change into a singlet so I could work faster without feeling really sweaty. There were textbooks, papers, sketchbooks, stationery, workbooks and loads more of junk on the bedroom floor, with only a small path for me to walk from the door to my bed (lol, bed jungle).

I was halfway through my sketchbook coming up with stupid ideas for my story when all of a sudden, I have the urge to make some clay art. So I came downstairs, made a few sphere models, and took them back up to wire some holes into them.

Then I thought of the loads of art material I bought back from Mid Valley yesterday, and remembered I haven’t used a small black box under my bed. So I arranged myself a mini Arts & Crafts Box! Lol, it felt like I was five again  :D.

Then that led to repacking my Refill Box (it’s just a box full of stationery refills). Then I had to put all my glowing sticks into ANOTHER box, which means I had to put my markers (which were originally in that box) into an even bigger box, and after that I tried pulling out my Time Capsule box to rearrange that as well, but all the mountain pile of books were in the way. So there goes me tidying up my room.
Some chain reaction. =A=”’

So anyway, I dealt with my three years worth of textbooks first, which was separated into two piles, since a junior of mine will be coming over next week so she could take the books she want. Those books would be the first pile. which is two years worth. The second pile would be all my workbooks and the textbooks the junior wouldn’t need, which is although a year worth but still taller than the other pile. I put them next to my bed and went on to the school papers.

Damn, there were so many of them around the room! On the chair, at the table, by the pillows of my bed, and most of them on the floor previously hidden my the textbooks. And would you believe that I never threw most of them away for three years straight? So I separated them all into three piles. The first pile would be printed on both sides, and the second pile would be printed on single side, and I could use some more papers to doodle on. Meanwhile, the third and least pile was just interesting doodles and articles, since it is quite rare to find interesting things among school work, haha. Of couse I’m going to send all of the first pile to the recycle center.

It took me triple the hours to arrange them compared to the textbooks, and there’s still two unarranged mountains left of papers, one by the table and one in a column of the Studies book shelf. But my mind was all like, it’s so boring sorting them out already. So I did my last sorting by the study table and ignored the ones in the bookshelves. I put my recycle pile of papers next to the book piles, and from a distance they look like an unnecessary set of stairs leading to my bed, lol.

I wiped away the dust in the darkest corners of my room, did a little more rearranging on my study table, and then washed my hands. Ewww, the soap went all black when I applied it. Then after clearing the Sudokus and other junk from my bed, I thought I was done and finally came back downstairs to Tumblr.
Halfway typing through this, I suddenly realized, I FORGOT TO REARRANGE MY TIME CAPSULE.

Ah, screw that, I’m beat now. I’ll do it on Christmas morning or something. For now I just want some time with my Tumblr.
